The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, received the president of the Arab Academy for science, technology and Maritime Transport, Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed the importance of enhancing cooperation paths that serve the educational environment in Arab university institutions and providing them with all the necessary development and modernization at the level of programs, training and entrepreneurship.
The minister of Education expressed the readiness of Iraqi universities to achieve the hoped-for level of scientific coordination and the formulation of academic cooperation programs in disciplines that respond to the goals of sustainable development, pointing out that university education in Iraq is moving at a confident pace towards areas of excellence, competition, attracting international students and achieving leading results in the field of world rankings.
For his part, the president of the Arab Academy for science, technology and Maritime Transport, Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, praised the policy of the Iraqi Ministry of higher education and scientific research and the work paths of its institutions in seriously opening up to the global education system and achieving quality requirements.
