The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, confirmed the move towards solid scientific partnerships and openness to the industry environment.
This was stated in his speech during the opening of the fifth international scientific conference on creativity and innovation, where he explained that the ministry and its university institutions have devoted qualitative efforts in the field of openness to international academic spaces, the embodiment of quality indicators in the educational process and its outputs, the development of innovations and the formulation of a future vision that brings us thoughtfully to a conscious response to the Sustainable Development Goals.
He added that the Iraqi academic institution has registered a mark of leadership in the field of research and development by starting to build the largest scientific research center in the Middle East, realizing the importance of scientific discoveries in facing challenges and succeeded in opening up to the industry environment and establishing incubators for scientific partnership.
The conference activities witnessed a number of speeches by the director general of the research and Development Department, Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi, and representatives of the participating Arab committees and delegations, while the minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, honored a distinguished group of researchers, pioneers and inventors and opened scientific and artistic exhibitions organized by the participants.
