The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, opened the Iraqi Pavilion at the Expo 2023 Doha Exhibition held in the Qatari capital Doha, which specializes in sustainable innovations and combating desertification.
In his speech in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Badr Bin Omar al-Dafa, Commissioner General of Expo 2023, he said that Iraqi institutions attach special importance to climate and climate change and that they are working on an integration perspective to strengthen policies and programs that are aligned with global results in this field.
He added that the opening of the Iraqi Pavilion indicates the keenness to contribute to facing climate change in strategic ways that adopt the scientific method in their design and implementation.
