The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, held a meeting with the Council of the University of Baghdad and discussed the results achieved at the level of scientific research and international rankings.
He expressed his confidence that Iraqi universities will register more positive indicators in academic performance and quality areas, especially in light of the shift towards the Bologna Process, which will enable the university environment to respond to the accelerated knowledge requirements and achieve harmony with the changes of the labor market.
He stressed that the indicative results in the times world ranking, which made Iraq ranked thirty-seventh globally, bear clear evidence of the right path pursued by the Ministry of higher education and scientific research and its university institutions in terms of scientific research and academic reputation, calling at the same time to intensify work in the fields of community service.
