The minister of higher education and scientific research honors Karbala University for achieving competitive results in the Global Times ranking
The Ministry of higher education and scientific research honored Karbala University for obtaining the competitive rank (+1501) in the international Times ranking in the presence of the minister of Higher Education, presidents of Iraqi universities and academics from inside and outside Iraq.
This came during the ceremony held by the Ministry of higher education at the Faculty of media at the University of Baghdad to celebrate (13) Iraqi universities, including Karbala University, which achieved competitive results in the Times ranking in the 2024 edition, in which Iraq ranked (37) in the world for the first time in its academic history.
The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, expressed his appreciation for this achievement and its achieved indicators in the fields of teaching, research environment, international outlook and industry income, congratulating Karbala University and its teaching staff, researchers, students and staff for obtaining this scientific achievement.
For his part, the president of Karbala University, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil al-Saidi, said, ” the fruits of this achievement came through the efforts of the University’s distinguished team, and the university is continuing to develop its scientific capabilities to achieve its goals along the lines of Advanced International experiments.
