The minister of higher education and scientific research, the head of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Authority, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, inspected the site of the Energy Authority and met with its general managers.
During the inspection tour, he visited a number of sites, while he chaired a meeting with members of the Diwani order Committee on the removal of radioactive pollution and discussed scientific procedures for clearing some areas of radioactive waste.
In this context, the minister of higher education and scientific research, the chairman of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Authority, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, announced the fundamental approval of the establishment of a zero nuclear reactor for scientific research for university students and the absence of radioactive contamination of the liquefaction site in Tuwaitha and the end of regulatory restrictions.
