The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Riyad Dehoud Al-Zubaidi, met with the students of the sixth stage for the academic year 2023-2024 and in the Student Activities Hall. Where Dr. Al-Zubaidi and the Scientific Associate, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abd Al-Ridha Abu Tahin, the heads of the branches and the teaching staff welcomed and congratulated the successful students to the sixth stage and began a brief explanation in which they explained the specificity of the sixth stage in the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala, that the student is the focus of the study, urging students to adhere to attendance. Perseverance and effort to achieve the goal. For his part, a member of the Curriculum Committee, Dr. Ahmed Hashem, stressed the need to adhere to attendance, reminding students of the mechanism for calculating absence and percentages that require penalties.
The Head of the Batiniya Branch, Prof. Dr. Karim Mosaheb Al-Tamimi, and the Head of the Women’s Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Nora Sabah Al-Jabri, gave a brief explanation in which they summarized their plan to teach students during the current academic course, and answered all students’ inquiries.
The meeting concluded with a speech by Prof. Dr. Riyad Al-Zubaidi, Dean of the College. He presented some advice and indicated the most important behaviors to be followed by students in educational centers, which reflects a positive image of students of the College of Medicine, University of Karbala in educational hospitals.
