Within the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (study in Iraq) launched by the respected Minister for the year 2023/2024, the College of Medicine, Karbala University, conducted interviews for applicants of the free scholarship to study Bachelor of Medicine and General Surgery, for which (10) ten seats were allocated.
Where dozens of Arab and other African and foreign countries competed within the scheduled interview that was supervised by a group of professors within the scientific committee, which consists of the respected dean’s assistants, each of Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel-Ridha Abu Tahin, the scientific assistant and Prof. Dr. Bashir Aqeel Al-Ali, the administrative assistant, and Prof. Dr. Alaa Khaled, director of registration and professors of other branches.
For his part, Dr. Ali Abu Tahin added to us: The questions varied between scientific and medical, the level of development in the field of medicine, and others depend on the reason for choosing the scholarship from the applicants. He also added that announcing the results will be very soon within the mechanisms used in the ministry.
