The Pathology and Forensic Medicine Branch of the College of Medicine / University of Karbala held a training course entitled
Approach to investigations of patients with suspected lymphoproliferative disorders
The first day of the training course, in which Prof. Dr. Enas Abdel Karim Dagher touched on the methods and laboratory tests used to diagnose lymphoproliferative leukemia based on:
Clinical signs of patients
Complete blood cell count
blood image
Bone marrow examination
Examination of bone marrow biopsy
A flow cytometry device to examine recipients present on the surface of cancerous lymphocytes and confirm the diagnosis, in addition to genetic examinations for each type of disease mentioned above.
