A delegation from the University of Isfahan visited on Sunday, 1/29/2023, which included a number of teachers in various medical specialties, including Professor Dr. Tahira Cengiz, the former president of Isfahan University and a professor of medical education. college during the past five years.
The visit included meeting with students, visiting classrooms, laboratories, skill laboratories, and postgraduate laboratories. They praised the great development in the technical and scientific level, the study curricula, and the evaluation methods adopted in the college.
In view of the existence of a memorandum of understanding between the two universities since 2009, the delegation of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences has expressed its willingness to extend this memorandum and work to implement all the items contained therein and joint cooperation for the development of laboratories, especially the skill laboratory, and to contribute to the development of postgraduate studies in the college and to train some specializations, especially with regard to medical education. Opening postgraduate studies at the Karbala College of Medicine to obtain a master’s degree in various medical education disciplines, facilitating procedures for training college teachers who wish to obtain a post-doctoral degree, as well as agreeing to hold joint workshops.
