A dissertation was discussed for higher diploma research in the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, and in the Hall of Family and Community Medicine, entitled (Information, attitudes, and dietary practices among pregnant women from reviews of primary health care centers in Karbala, 2022).
This study aimed to determine the knowledge, behavior and practice of pregnant women about proper nutrition.
The study concluded that there is a general weakness of nutritional knowledge during pregnancy in pregnant women. And this lack of information is associated with the lack of women’s level of education and young age, and there is a lack of advice by doctors and primary health care staff for pregnant women about nutrition during pregnancy. Therefore, there is a need for more focus on nutritional advice and education to improve the mother’s diet because Women have limited nutritional knowledge. After the student, Mithal Ibrahim Muhammad Hussein, was able to defend her research, the supervising committee decided, after confidential consultation with her, to grant her a higher diploma with a very good grade, high.
