His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, visited the University of Karbala, the Faculty of Medicine, and he was accompanied by the Governor of Holy Karbala, Professor Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, and the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saeedi and his scientific and administrative assistants. Among those who received him was the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyad Dehoud Al-Zubaidi and his scientific collaborators, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel-Ridha Abu Tahin and the administrator, Prof. Dr. Bashir Aqeel Al-Ali and some of the deans of other faculties.
The visit aimed to get acquainted with the latest developments in the college in terms of halls and laboratories. In this regard, the Computers Laboratory and the Skills Laboratory for the Surgery Branch and a new classroom were opened.
He expressed his admiration for what he touched and witnessed of this level of clear development.
The minister listened to an explanation given by Prof. Dr. Bashir Aqil Al-Ali, the administrative assistant of the college, about equipping the college with the latest and most prestigious machines of advanced international origins to serve medical education.
He expressed his great satisfaction with these advanced technical and engineering achievements, thanking the Deanship of the College, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Riyad Dehoud Al-Zubaidi and the Administrative Assistant, Prof. Dr. Bashir Aqil Al-Ali for this determination and dedicated activity and motivating them to provide the best services to serve the educational process.
