Karbala Medicine organizes an attendance scientific symposium on (the elimination of violence against women)

In conjunction with (16 days) to combat violence against women, the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, and the Women’s Empowerment Unit, organized an attendance scientific symposium entitled (Elimination of Violence against Women) today, Wednesday, 11-30-2022, in the psychological counseling hall in the college.
It was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyad Dhayhoud Al-Zubaidi and both the scientific and administrative assistants, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel-Ridha Abu Tahin and Prof. Dr. Bashir Aqil Al-Ali, as well as a number of faculty members and some heads of scientific branches, with the participation of a number of researchers from the university’s faculties, including professors and employees.
The symposium was moderated by the head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at Dr. Mai Muhammad Ali Al-Jilawi, who provided an introductory overview of the symposium, followed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Hussein Al-Azerjawi, Associate Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala, was a lecturer at the symposium.
The symposium aimed to reject negative ideas related to the aspect of violence and restore full confidence in them and support them in entering the arena of social, scientific and economic life.
It also touched on mentioning real examples and models from our society on this subject.
The researchers called at the symposium to immunize women from these ideas and to avoid everything that would diminish their rights and dignity as recommended by our Islamic religion.
