The teaching staff from the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mansour Jassem, participated in the membership of the discussion committee for the Master’s thesis in Medical Microbiology at the College of Medicine, University of Kufa, for graduate student Nawara Salim Zayed, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Fadel Al-Kalabi. The public discussion was held at the College of Medicine, University of Kufa, with the participation of a group of professors from the College of Medicine/University of Kufa and the College of Medicine/University of Karbala. The study dealt with the role of some immune markers in determining the severity of the disease and response to treatment in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
