Prof. Dr. Fadel Jawad Al Tohme, a teaching professor at the College of Medicine – University of Karbala, participated in the first international scientific conference for health and medical specializations, which was held at Al-Zahra University for Girls for the period from June 5-6, 2022, with two important researches, one of which is related to the study of some genetic characteristics that cause polycystic ovary disease. Multiple and widespread among married women and others in Iraq, with a percentage that may reach 15%, and it was in partnership with (Prof. Hana Adai Ali – College of Science, University of Kufa) and (Dr. Heba Aqil from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Teaching Hospital in Karbala).
The other research was in partnership with a number of researchers at the Laser Institute for Graduate Studies at the University of Baghdad (Prof. Zainab Fadel Mahdi – Prof. Rawaa Ahmed Faris, as well as one of the faculty of Al-Zahra University (Associate Professor Maha Muhammad Kazem Majid). ) related to the development of a new technical method for measuring vitamin D3 and other biochemical parameters in the blood sera of breast cancer patients in Iraq.
