His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb) valued the faculty of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Karbala and all the teaching staff in the universities for the active participation in supervising the polling stations on 10/10/2021 for the elections of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
His Excellency said, “We highly value the positions and efforts of academics in higher education and scientific research institutions, universities, professors and experts in meeting the national mission by supervising the polling centers in our honorable Iraqi governorates.
Proceeding from the responsibility in building the state and strengthening its foundations, more than six thousand and fifty-three professors and technical experts participated along the map of the electoral event, under direct ministerial supervision and follow-up, in order to contribute to the support of the Independent High Electoral Commission, and a commitment and keenness to chart the future of Iraq in accordance with the principles of the constitution and the higher interests of the country.
