The Department of Media and Public Relations at Karbala University concluded its training course on news writing, photography and electronic publishing, with the participation of people’s officials and media units in colleges and university centers.
The course, which was held under the auspices and guidance of the President of the University, Prof. Bassem Khalil Al-Saidi, aimed to develop the skills of writing scientific news according to the news templates approved by the Ministry and the skills of photography. The director of the department, Dr. Yahya Al-Taei, stated that the course lasted for three days in cooperation with the Department of Continuing Education and the College of Dentistry, and the participants received training on the most important arts and journalistic templates in writing scientific news and photography, theoretically and practically, with the aim of developing their media skills in order to show a true image of the university from By following the best methods of journalistic writing, in line with the visions and aspirations of the ministry in publishing scientific news to reach and serve the community through openness to other media, indicating that this course represents a starting point towards progress and development in the media productions of the University of Karbala and to continue developing the skills of future workers. .
