The University of Karbala achieved advanced ranks in the Webometrics classification, with a sequence of (11) locally and (3499) globally. Where the results of the Web Matrix World Ranking recorded the attendance and competition of eighty-two Iraqi public and private universities within the second half of the year 2021. According to the website (http://www.webometrics.info/en/Asia/Iraq) and in this regard, the President of Karbala University explained (Prof. Bassem Khalil Al-Saidi), the esteemed, that our university ranked (11) out of (82) Iraqi public and private universities, with a sequence of (3499) globally, and an advance from the previous year, when it was ranked (23) locally. With this achievement, the president of the university offered congratulations and blessings to all Who contributed to the achievement of this advanced scientific achievement. And that the Web Matrix classification is affiliated to the Higher Center for Scientific Research in Spain, issued every semester and depends on indicators that measure the virtual presence of universities through their sites, indicating clarity (50%), transparency (10%) and strength and excellence of research (40%).
