
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, under the auspices of the Dean, Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Al-Araji, organized a training course titled “Postpartum Hemorrhage.” This course is part of the Continuing Education Unit’s efforts to enhance the skills of medical staff and students in dealing with one of the most dangerous postpartum complications. Postpartum hemorrhage is a medical emergency that requires quick diagnosis and effective intervention to reduce health complications for both mother and child.
The course focuses on:
- Providing theoretical information about the causes and risks of postpartum hemorrhage.
- Discussing modern methods of diagnosis and treatment.
- Practical applications and simulations of emergency cases to enhance clinical expertise.
The course aims to update the knowledge of specialists in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, thereby improving the quality of healthcare provided to patients and reducing complication rates.
