Karbala Medical College Welcomes a Student as Part of the “Study in Iraq” Initiative

Under the guidance of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and the President of Karbala University, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Al-Ali, and as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative, the College of Medicine, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Al-Araji, welcomed a student from the brotherly Republic of Sudan. The International Students Reception Committee (represented by Mr. Mustafa Ahmed Fakhruddin) from the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Unit of the College of Medicine received the international students accepted within the “Study in Iraq” initiative for the second edition 2024-2025 by welcoming the student “Al-Jaili Al-Zain Al-Sheikh Al-Tayeb” at Baghdad International Airport. The student was accommodated in the university’s dormitories and completed the registration process at the college. It is worth noting that he is the fourth student from brotherly countries.

Dr. Khalid Al-Araji confirmed that the college, according to the ministry’s directives, operates on solid foundations and with unified steps towards global scientific integrity within the educational quality and institutional accreditation program.
