The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, discussed with the Governor of Wasit, Dr. Muhammad Jamil Al-Miyahi, and its Council members the support of university institutions and the enhancement of institutional integration.
The meeting discussed areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and local institutions to achieve development goals and the mission of universities in serving the community.
In a joint press conference, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, confirmed that Wasit Governorate is one of the governorates that has worked to establish a positive image of cooperation with academic institutions, noting at the same time that the establishment of a new public university in northern Wasit will enhance the opportunities to provide and achieve developmental requirements.
