The Global Rankings Follow-up Committee at Karbala University held an extensive meeting attended by the university president, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, to discuss the latest scientific developments and the advanced positions the university has achieved in local and global rankings.
The meeting, attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Mohammad Imran, emphasized the importance of improving the quality of scientific research presented by researchers and strengthening it to achieve progress in globally recognized rankings.
During the meeting, several proposals were presented to enhance the educational process, as well as to follow up on the development of the university’s website, especially in English, as it is one of the requirements for international evaluation.
It is worth noting that Karbala University has achieved advanced positions in global rankings such as the Times Higher Education, Webometrics, GreenMetric, and the QS World University Rankings.
