Supporting the University Library… Presidential Advisor Donates Books to Karbala University

The President of Karbala University, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, received a number of books today, Thursday, donated by the Presidency of the Republic, represented by its advisor, Mr. Saad Al-Saadi.

The donated books include titles in various scientific fields, including law, politics, media, general culture, and social development.

The university president appreciated this initiative, which aims to enhance the culture of reading and awareness within the academic community and restore the importance of books in the face of the cultural invasion that particularly affects the youth and society in general.

Wajid stated that the university is moving towards developing scientific research, diversifying information sources, and exchanging opinions, as well as providing opportunities for individuals for self-learning, which can transform them into creative individuals aware of all the issues of their society and environment.

For his part, the Presidential Advisor, Mr. Saad Al-Saadi, said that “the Presidency of the Republic has strategic programs to support university libraries, as they are a main and active element in shaping the culture of society by providing individuals with opportunities for communication and learning skills related to acquiring knowledge.”

The central library at Karbala University occasionally receives publications related to various specializations donated by researchers and writers to enrich knowledge and support the scientific movement.
