President of the University of Karbala Receives Delegation from Imam Hussein University of Iran and Discusses Scientific Cooperation

The President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, received the President of Imam Hussein University of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Reza Hasani Ahankar, and his accompanying delegation.

Dr. Sabah mentioned that the University of Karbala has signed numerous scientific cooperation and understanding agreements with global universities, including British, French, and Iranian institutions.

Wajid explained that opening up to global universities aligns with the vision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, to engage with scientific institutions and benefit from their experiences in scientific research.

Dr. Mohammad Reza Hasani Ahankar praised the University of Karbala for its various scientific branches and the presence of specialized research centers in strategic and environmental fields.

Hasani stated that “Imam Hussein University aspires to benefit from the research and scientific experience of the University of Karbala.”

The President of the University of Karbala, accompanied by his scientific deputy, Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed, took the visiting delegation on a field tour of student projects completed during Global Entrepreneurship Week.

On the sidelines of the visit, the University of Karbala signed a scientific cooperation agreement with Imam Hussein University, aiming to activate scientific partnership to enhance the scientific reality of both institutions.
