The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, announced the upcoming groundbreaking of the largest project in the field of scientific laboratories.
This announcement came during his meeting with the Council of the University of Kufa, where he expressed the Ministry’s commitment to establishing scientific laboratories that will take a leading position in this field to enhance scientific research as one of the fundamental pillars of sustainable development, which is linked to the progress and advancement of societies.
He reiterated the importance of making universities cultural and scientific hubs and enhancing their responsibilities towards society and institutional integration with state sectors. He also emphasized the development of training frameworks to improve professional capacities and update teaching curricula.
The Minister listened to the proposals of the members of the University of Kufa Council and the council’s recommendations regarding enhancing the specializations required to serve the community and attracting international students within the Study in Iraq program.
