The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research inaugurated several construction projects, classrooms, and laboratories at Jaber Bin Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate.
During the inauguration, attended by the university president, Dr. Ali Ismail Abdullah, and members of the university council, the Minister emphasized that the opening of these specialized projects will enhance medical and health education and allow students and researchers to participate in research that contributes to the development of the health sector in Iraq.
He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working to support newly established universities, including Jaber Bin Hayyan University, by developing their infrastructure and providing them with the resources needed to achieve their goals and mission and compete in global rankings.
The inaugurated projects included medical chemistry laboratories, medical analysis laboratories, the College of Medical Sciences laboratory, the virtual legislation laboratory, Sayyid Shuhada’ al-Muqawama Hall, Jaber Bin Hayyan Hall, and the dormitory building.
