The College of Medicine at the University of Karbala concluded the five-a-side football league by winning the fourth stage of the fifth stage competition under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Riyadh Dhioud Al-Zubaidi, and the supervision of the Dean’s assistants

Within the five-a-side football league held on the fields of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences
The college also provided technical and moral support throughout the competition and the league qualifiers between the college stages
The competition aimed to develop the sports skills of Karbala Medicine students and encourage them to do more in other competitions in addition to academic study as it is the main outlet for university students. The head of the Sports Activities Unit in the college, Assistant Professor Ahmed Makki Mahmoud, added: Our next efforts will be to participate externally in scouting camps and university competitions for other sports, in order to diversify skills in education and sports.
