The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, directed the establishment of a new college at the University of Baghdad specialized in the fields of science and attracts outstanding students in the next academic year.

This came in his speech during the central graduation ceremony for the sixty-seventh session at the University of Baghdad, where he explained that he directed the relevant departments and formations in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to study and provide the appropriate requirements to establish a new college project at the University of Baghdad specialized in the fields of science and based on the identity and space of innovative ideas and pioneering projects and adopts qualitative and diverse academic programs with a global reach.

He added that the project stems from the strategic policy adopted by the ministry in determining priorities, developing university services, supporting professional leadership, enhancing outputs, and committing to qualifying students according to the requirements of the labor market in an effective and influential manner. It aims to attract students with high grades and qualify them through the knowledge they will receive from experts from Iraqi and foreign university professors, which will mainly rely on advanced and non-traditional study systems with the aim of establishing pioneering concepts in scientific disciplines and their fertile applications, including data analysis, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, environmental sciences, climate change, renewable energy, social sciences, and other types of knowledge. The central ceremony witnessed a speech by the President of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, and the recitation of the graduation oath, while the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the outstanding students and stressed that the graduation of the sixty-seventh session at the University of Baghdad at this time clearly indicates the level of presence of the supreme values ​​and constants of the nation in the conscience and conscience of Iraqi society and its loyal sons who raised the banner of the right position to support and stand by the victories and sacrifices formulated by the heroes of Lebanon and Palestine and their peoples in the face of Zionist brutality in the region.
