On the occasion of the National Tree Planting Day, the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala organized on Tuesday 10-1-2024, in cooperation with the Tree Planting Unit of the Department of Agriculture in the University Presidency, a #Tree_Planting campaign for the college gardens, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Ridha Abu Tahin.
The assistant stressed the importance of the campaign in increasing green spaces in line with the goals and visions of the college, which seeks to spread the culture of green sustainability.
For his part, he added that today’s campaign also aims to encourage students to pay attention to planting green spaces and preserving the environment.
The tree planting campaign included planting several types of seedlings in the college gardens, and a number of college employees and students participated in planting them.
