The annual medical detachment of the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, began providing its medical services to the visitors of Arbaeen_Imam_Hussain, peace be upon him, as part of the extracurricular student activities in the college, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Riyadh Thioud Al-Zubaidi and the Dean’s assistants for administrative and scientific affairs, and with the participation of a number of professors and students of the college, in addition to graduates of the College of Medicine, Karbala.
The services provided by the “medical detachment” included many medical services, including blood sugar and blood pressure tests, medications, bandages, and surgical operations, in addition to providing therapeutic medications and the necessary medical instructions that visitors need and dealing with emergency cases in coordination with the Karbala Health Department.
It is worth noting that the work of the “medical detachment” continues to provide its continuous services until the end of the Arbaeen visit.
This comes within the framework of the #Your_Government_At_Your_Service initiative launched by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and sponsored by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi.
