In a gesture of thanks and pride from the Deanship of the College of Medicine, University of Karbala and the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the college held a farewell party for one of the department’s professors, Professor Dr. Ali Al-Moussawi, on the occasion of his retirement, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Ridha Abu Tahin, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashir Aqil Al-Ali, the Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Shahrazad Shamkhi Al-Jubouri, and a number of professors and members of the department.
The party included words of thanks and praise delivered by the assistants and the head of the branch, in which they praised the role of Professor Dr. Ali Al-Moussawi and what he provided during his service period at the college. A gift of appreciation was also presented to him, in appreciation of his distinguished efforts during his academic career at the college in general, and to the Department of Family and Community Medicine in particular.
For his part, Professor Dr. Ali Al-Moussawi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the College and the Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the college for this distinguished initiative, wishing everyone continued success and prosperity.
