The Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations announced the accreditation of the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, as a training center for research by Iraqi Board students in the specialty of orthopedics and traumatology.
The center’s official, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Walid Yahya, stated that the center will be opened in October 2024, and then the center will begin its work and receive Iraqi Board students starting from the academic year 2024-2025.
Pointing out that the opening of this center will be an important scientific edifice and a major achievement that will add to the scientific and medical movement in the Holy Governorate of Karbala, and will also contribute to supplying more specialized doctors to the governorate’s hospitals in Iraq.
