The aim of the study was to assess the role of neuromuscular ultrasound examination in the diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy in relation to clinical studies and electrodiagnostics.
The study concluded that ultrasound examination of nerves and muscles is a useful technique in diagnosing, evaluating and characterizing various types of peripheral neuropathy.
