The Chairman of the Higher Education Committee in the Iraqi Parliament, Representative and Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat, Deputy Dr. Nahla Effendi, Deputy Dr. Firas Al-Maslamawi, and Representative Yassin Hassan Al-Amiri visited the Faculty of Medicine, Karbala University, to see the scientific and medical reality and the level of progress reached by Karbala medicine.
Where you were received by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyad Dehoud Al-Zubaidi, the Assistant Administrative Dean, the Assistant Professor Dr. Bashir Aqil Al-Ali, the Associate Scientific Dean, the Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdel-Reza Abu Tahin, and a number of college professors.
The committee also reviewed the scientific branches of the college, laboratories, classrooms, and other vital facilities in the college, and the administrative aspects of the Registration and Studies Division and other divisions of the college.
Dr. Al-Khayyat praised the development and the great level in which Karbala medicine advanced despite the challenges and difficult conditions and the high number of admissions to the college, but it was a model for the continuation of the graduation of qualified doctors at the level of Iraq. He also looked at the new buildings and infrastructure that the college will provide in the future, praising the great efforts by Mr. The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Riyad Al-Zubaidi and his assistants, for the continuation of the wheel of construction and development and attention to the administrative and scientific aspects.
For his part, Dr. Al-Khayyat added that Karbala medicine is a model for scientific and cognitive construction and expansion of medical colleges, especially after the great challenges they faced in the success of the modern integrated system at the level of Iraq.
