The Second International Conference of Biological and Pure Sciences was concluded at the University of Mosul – College of Sciences, which was held for the period from 19-20 November 2022, with the participation of scientists from 15 countries and more than 180 scientific researches in various disciplines of pure sciences. It was attended by the President of Mosul University, security leaders, parliamentarians and deans faculties and hundreds of participants and graduate students.
Where the conference was held in the theater hall, which was restored to life in its most beautiful form, and it is one of the most important and largest halls destroyed by ISIS gangs when they were occupying the city of Mosul.
The College of Medicine – University of Karbala had a great role to attend this conference and participate in its scientific sessions, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Fadel Jawad Al Tohmeh, with five research summaries for graduate students at the College of Medicine, and he presided over one of the conference’s scientific sessions.
The President of Mosul University, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Al-Tai, President of the Conference and Dean of the Faculty of Science, honored Dr. Al-Tohme and a number of other researchers from inside and outside Iraq for their eagerness to attend the conference, including Prof. Dr. Muhammad Reda Rashidi from Tabriz University For medical sciences, as he gave the important conference lecture entitled (Major trends of biological and medical sciences).
