Karbala University begins preparing 1700 Iftar meals for students in the dormitories throughout the holy days of Ramadan

Karbala University started preparing 1700 Iftar meals for the students of the internal departments at the university under the field supervision of the university president, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel al-Saeedi, the administrative assistant, Prof. Dr. Akram Mohsen al-Yasiri and a number of professors and employees.

“In honor of this holy month, a collective iftar banquet was held for the students of the internal departments of the university, who reside in the residential complex and from most Iraqi provinces, as well as foreign students who started this year in the study seats within the initiative to study in Iraq,” said the university president, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saeedi.

He emphasized that these humanitarian initiatives for students enhance the social aspects and the fatherly spirit between students and their scientific surroundings and that the university has taken upon itself to provide many of these initiatives as they develop the bonds of love between all.

For his part, the Director of Internal Departments, Dr. Haider Gharib, explained that this initiative will continue throughout the days of the Holy Month, which will be provided daily iftar for more than 1700 students living in the residential complex for students and dormitories for female students.
