In celebration of the National Tree Planting Day on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala organized a tree-planting campaign in the college’s gardens. The event was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Redha Abu Tahin.
The Assistant Dean emphasized the importance of the campaign in increasing green spaces in line with the college’s goals and vision of promoting a culture of green sustainability. He added that the campaign also aims to encourage students to take an interest in planting green spaces and preserving the environment.
The tree-planting campaign included the planting of various types of seedlings in the college gardens, with a number of college employees and students participating in the planting.
