Professors from the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala participated in the scientific symposium titled “Management of Glomerular Kidney Diseases

New Visions and Future Prospects,” which was held by the Iraqi Society for Diseases and Kidney Transplantation – Middle Euphrates Branch, sponsored by Al-Sayegh Center for Diseases and Transplantation, and supported by prestigious pharmaceutical companies such as Sama Al-Fayhaa Pharmaceutical, Desma Italian, Norman Spanish, and Al-Riyada for Medical Laboratory Devices.

The symposium was chaired by Professor Dr. Riyadh Al-Sayegh, with the distinguished participation of a group of professors from the College of Medicine at Karbala, and the participation of specialist doctors from other provinces.

The symposium aimed to enhance the rich exchange of information and experiences among the participants, and it was also available electronically via the Zoom platform, allowing international participation by Professor Dr. Hala Wannous from Damascus University – Syria.

It is noteworthy that the participants’ involvement in the symposium included six educational axes, which contributed to enriching their knowledge and enhancing their scientific and practical experiences in the field of kidney diseases and transplantation.

The symposium is considered an important step towards developing new approaches in the treatment of glomerular kidney diseases and reflects the continuous pursuit of exchanging expertise and knowledge among specialists in this vital field.
