One hundred million dinars .. The minister of education honors the winners of the Higher Education Award for reading

The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, honored the winning students of the Higher Education Award for reading in the presence of a large crowd of public and private university professors, teachers and students.

This came during the ceremony held to honor the winners of the Higher Education Award for reading, where the minister of higher education and scientific research confirmed in his speech that the award, in which more than forty-two thousand students registered, contributed to stimulating cultural awareness responsible for promoting productive and creative thinking trends at the individual and community levels now and in the future.

He added that the message of the competition has been achieved through a distinguished group of students of primary studies in public and private universities, pointing out at the same time that its impact will be obvious in enhancing awareness and protecting society from the effects of superficiality that targets our children through the consumption of content with negative content, stressing the importance of cultural stimulation and involving students in reviewing the cultural materials and analyzing their contents in order to employ them in facing challenges and making solutions to contemporary problems.

The chairman of the organizing committee, Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Attiyah, reviewed the stages of preparation and organization of the award and the mechanisms of drawing lots among the hundred students who achieved the highest grades in the test that took place on the fifteenth of last September.

The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, concluded the ceremony by honoring the winning students of the Higher Education Prize for reading, which amounted to one hundred million, with five million for each winner, expressing at the same time his congratulations and thanks to all the winners, participants, universities, supporting colleges and members of the organizing and technical committees, who provided a commendable and appreciative effort.
