The Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, held an honoring session for the teacher, Dr. Raad Gharib, on the occasion of his retirement from his job and receiving the shield of creativity and excellence.
(Today and this is the state of life, we bid farewell to people and meet people… Today we bid farewell to a colleague of ours and an older brother who worked and tried hard and of course with concerted efforts and cooperation of all.. He was honest and sincere in his duties. He also left a wonderful impact on his predecessor, such as Dr. Ali Aziz, Dr. Akram, and Dr. Adnan Al-Hilli….the faculty members of the Surgery Branch wished success and a long life for our brother, Dr. Raad)
Words of thanks and praise were also delivered from the rest of the teaching attendees in the surgery branch, and it is mentioned that Dr. Raad Gharib had held the position of head of the surgery branch in addition to being a teacher at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Karbala.
