Instructor receives an intensive course at the US CPMC Center

Dr. Riyad Al-Sayegh participated in an intensive course in San Francisco, California, USA, in CPMC, in the field of renal, liver and nephrology, interventional and tissue matching with the latest international methods (21 days) for the period from 17 May to 7 June). The specialty is in the field of organ transplant, especially the liver and so on, as a team formed between the American side headed by the American surgeon Asaad Abdul Hassoun of Iraqi origin and from the Iraqi side Professor Dr. Riyad Muhy Abboud jeweler to develop kidney transplant and initiate transplantation of liver and pancreas according to Supported global controls in the US health system note that the Sutter health delegation participated in the following activities: – major clinical tours inside the hospital to follow patients prepare (during and after) the liver and kidney transplant operations. – Participating in the organ donation system for brain death, clinical cardiac arrest, live donors and the exchange system among donors to provide the best results for transplants in patients receiving donated organs. – Participation in interventional and catheter medicine for transplantation of kidneys and liver. – Training in Immunology Laboratory and Histological Classification using modern medical scientific protocols for the homogeneous selection between donors, whether living or dead brain, patients and different ages. Colleagues at the American Center have shown remarkable admiration and cooperation for the development of Iraqi capabilities. A team has been formed to promote medical services in the field of organ transplantation in Iraq.
