The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, chaired the periodic meeting of the Education, Youth and sports committee of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordinating Council.
The members of the committee discussed during the meeting, which was attended by the minister of education, the chairman of the board of advisors, representatives of the Ministry of youth and sports, the Iraqi national Olympic Committee, the secretariat of the joint Coordinating Council and the decision of the Education, Youth and sports committee.
The meeting reviewed the axes of cooperation at the program level in the fields of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Education, Youth and sports, especially with regard to scholarships provided by the two countries, the visiting professor, joint supervision, staff training, curriculum digitization, preparing students and their scientific, educational and sports programs.
The meeting concluded with a recommendation to submit its outputs to the Iraqi-Saudi Coordinating Council to embody them within the joint work space and to develop bilateral cooperation programs.
